Sound Food
Sound Food began as a mapping project to answer the question: “How do I find locally grown food?”
The Sound Food Map is now a great way to find local farms and farm stands. You can also sign up for the monthly Sound Food News and visit the site to learn more about how to grow and eat the freshest local food.

We encourage you to contribute an article, participate in a discussion forum and become a vital part of growing our local food system.
As another piece of the system, the Sound Food Ferry Farm Stand was launched as a pilot program in June 2008. It proved successful at delivering fresh, seasonal food from local farms to commuters on Wednesdays at the Bainbridge ferry terminal. Look for it again this summer!
